2026 Olympic Winter Games Curling Format

At the Winter Olympics, each curling discipline features 10 teams. They begin with a round-robin, where everyone plays each other once. The top four teams advance to the semifinals, with tiebreakers used if standings are level.

Semifinals follow a standard bracket, first vs fourth and second vs third, with winners moving on to the gold medal game and losing teams playing for bronze.

Men’s and women’s games are played over 10 ends, while mixed doubles are eight ends. If scores are tied, extra ends are played until a winner is decided. Teams have set thinking time per game, along with short breaks between ends and a single timeout to consult coaches.
